It is the mission of the Youth Institute of San Antonio to provide outreach alternatives to youth, their families and communities through a series of social redevelopment, prevention, and intervention programs, services and opportunities in order to affect youth problems in the Bexar County region.

Welcome to Youth Institute of San Antonio's (YI0SA) website. YIOSA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established in 1990 by Dr. Patricia A. Holmes, President and Mr. James A. Holmes, Executive Director. The institute is supervised by an unpaid Board of Directors which is deeply involved and committed to resolving the problems and improving the quality of life for our youth and their families. YIOSA has three primary strategies that are employed to achieve its' goals: early prevention, intervention and social redevelopment.
